SEC Filings

The EDGAR Online database contains more than 3 million documents that companies have filed through the Securities Exchange Commission's (SEC) Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system since 1994.

EDGAR Online receives all electronically-filed documents within seconds of their submission and makes them available to our clients in formats that include original, HTML, Rich Text, PDF and spreadsheet-ready financials.

You can receive SEC filings through your web browser with a subscription to the EDGAR Pro or EDGAR Access. You can also provide the data to viewers of your company's Website, intranet and/or other application, through either our hosted pages service or the EDGAR Explorer Application Program Interface (API).

We deliver rich, structured data from every EDGAR filing using powerful XML tagging that allows for detailed information about each data item within a filing (e.g., "legal proceedings section"). In addition, as each document is received, EDGAR Online indexes it to other references like ticker symbol and exchange, CIK associations resulting from mergers, and a "Formerly Known As" reference for companies that have changed names.
